Awareness morning to discuss drug crime in the Babylonian cultural house

The Iraqi legislator for drug crimes in the light of Law No. (50) for the year 2017), in which the female faculty member, Hawra Shi`a Al-Asadi, lectured.
She said that drugs, or in other words, psychotropic substances have a negative impact on Iraqi society, and this phenomenon has spread widely after 2003, and Iraq is considered one of the countries that suffer the most from its spread, noting that this phenomenon has several aspects only used for trade and possession, and drug trade became a profession through import and export. And the cultivation of some of them, such as opium, poppies and hashish, and all of this is considered a crime punishable by Iraqi law.
In her speech, Al-Asadi touched on the Iraqi legislator’s handling of the drug crime through the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law No. 50 of the Iraqi Penal Code for the year 2017.
The lecture reviewed the articles stipulated in the Anti-Narcotics Law and the mechanism of its dealings with those accused of this crime.
In the end, Al-Asadi answered the questions and inquiries of the attendees
