The launch of the activities of the Seventh National/Fourth International Scientific Conference in Hilla University College

 

With a wide academic presence, the activities of the seventh national/fourth international scientific conference of Hilla University College were launched in cooperation with the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala, and under the slogan (Pure Sciences… Horizons and Aspirations), and with scientific support from the (IEEE) Foundation – Iraq branch
The conference began with the recitation of a verse from the Holy Quran, then reading Surah Al-Fatihah to the souls of the martyrs, followed by listening to the national anthem.
The opening session included a speech by the Dean of Hilla University College and the conference supervisor, Professor Dr. Aqeel Al-Saadi, who “stressed the importance of Hilla University College holding this conference, which is organized in cooperation with the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala, within the framework of the college’s keenness to keep pace with everything It is new, and Hillah University College always seeks to develop the educational aspect by holding scientific conferences in various fields.

He blessed the holding of this scientific carnival, indicating that one of the most important goals of the University of Karbala is to build the human being in knowledge and values, and that the tributary of science and knowledge along with building the human value system lead to a comprehensive goal, which is to build a conscious and cohesive society, stressing that private universities and colleges have a major role in supporting and continuing the scientific process in our dear country.
Then, the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Hamida Eidan Salman, came forward to deliver a speech in which she welcomed the honorable audience and presented a brief overview of the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Karbala since its establishment. At the end of her speech, she extended her sincere thanks to all those responsible for making this a success. The conference president and members took it upon themselves to pay attention to the smallest details to raise the level of the event and highlight the conference as a milestone in the professional and scientific record.
The conference aims to exchange scientific and research experiences between local universities, as well as achieving the seventeenth goal, which is partnership to achieve sustainable development goals, which was part of the college’s endeavor to achieve sustainable development.
The opening ceremony of the conference included a musical performance by the artist Hussein Muslim, a theatrical performance by students of the Department of Dramatic Arts in our college entitled (Classes of Butchers), and a screening of a documentary film about the university’s most important activities to achieve sustainable development goals, produced by the Media and Public Relations Division in our college, in addition to scientific sessions and lectures given by professors. Specialization and scientific workshops to exchange research.
The scientific symposium was attended by a large group of professors from both parties, as well as graduate students and a group of college students.
