Hillah University College concluded a week full of activities and events in celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week for the period from November 14 to 21, 2023, with the participation of the college’s departments, divisions, and units.
This week’s activities were held under the patronage of the Dean of Hilla University College, Professor Dr. Aqeel Al-Saadi, and supervised by the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor, Dr. Imad Salam Abboud, and the Continuing Education Unit, included many workshops, seminars, scientific lectures, a patent exhibition, and graduation research, which led to the exchange of innovative ideas and experiences.
The head of the preparatory committee (Assist. Prof. Dr. Emad Salam Abboud) explained that the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week in its first year enjoyed the participation of entrepreneurs and experts who shared their experiences and success stories as part of the main themes of this year.
He added that these events were motivating for young people with ambition, innovative ideas, and the development of entrepreneurship.
Among the closing activities, there was a lecture entitled the crime of electronic blackmail, delivered by Brigadier General Adel Kadhem Hashem, Director of Information at the Babylon Police, in which he explained what the crime of electronic blackmail is, how to avoid falling victim to this crime, methods of dealing with blackmailers, and the legal methods that must be followed in the event that the crime of electronic blackmail occurs.
In conclusion, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Aqeel Al-Saadi, presented certificates of appreciation to the departments participating in the success of the Global Leadership Week activities, appreciating their efforts and wishing them more brilliance and creativity in the scientific and practical fields.
